All charges exclude hardware and software where applicable. Should any hardware or software be required, the customer will be notified. No hardware or software will be installed without the customer’s consent.
Payment
Payment by the customer is due upon completion of the job. Full pre-payment is required for orders where we do not hold customer’s equipment as security. The company accepts payment by way of cash, credit and debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Switch, Maestro/Solo and American Express). Cheques accepted at the company’s discretion.
PC Wakeup Limited reserves the right to modify the prices from time to time.
Target Completion Date
The customer will be given a target completion date for services and/or repairs. The company will do everything it can to meet the target completion date specified. Occasionally the target completion date may be affected by factors beyond the company’s control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. The company will endeavour to inform the customer if they become aware of an unexpected delay. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the company cannot be held to a completion date.
For servicing jobs only, where no additional work is required, a discount of £5 will be applied if we fail to meet the target completion date. The service discount will not be applied if the target completion date is not met due to not being able to contact the customer. The company reserves the right to the final decision as to whether the service discount is applied.
Collection and Delivery Service
The company offers a collection and delivery service in circumstances where the customer prefers not to deliver/collect from the shop. A preferred collection date and time frame will be agreed at the time of booking and a return delivery date and time frame once the job is complete. A charge for this service is payable at the company’s discretion.
Warranty
New parts carry a 12 month warranty from the company. The manufacturer warranty may extend past this period. Second hand parts carry a 30 day warranty from the company. Receipts are given for all work carried out and are required for any warranty return.
Due to the nature of servicing, no warranty is available on these items.
Data
Excepting as agreed in writing, the company does not accept liability for data and programs that may be held on any machine, or loss or corruption of any data whilst the machine is in the company’s possession. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any data and programs held on the machine which are of an important or sensitive nature is fully backed up before the machine is brought into the shop.
